Healthcare changes are ahead
Those American’s who do have health insurance typically do not have adequate coverage. Public nor private insurers our meeting the needs of American’s today. And now with failing business American’s are losing employee benefits, which for some is the only way they could afford insurance.
There are many bills presented to Congress every year pushing for the reorganization of our healthcare system. Many just can not agree on what is the right direction. A national health insurance system has been considered. The plan would increase Americans health care coverage, but would do nothing for the rising cost of health care.
The big debate in the medical community with this plan is that the doctor/patient relationship will suffer. There are good arguments on both side that should be considered. A plan has to be implanted that cuts medical insurance cost and forces cost cuts in healthcare.
This does not change the fact that uninsured American’s must find a way for the time being to carry health insurance. We need to take advantage of the low cost plans that in the least provide us with major medical coverage. We must be proactive and purchase the best we can on our budget or seek out government funded plans.
